About Us

In 1996, Rick and Stacy Low purchased the old McMinn County Quarry. They named the resort Loch (Scottish for Lake) Low (Owners' last name) Minn (for McMinn County).
Loch Low-Minn is a dive resort dedicated to instructors, students, and certified divers. To ensure the safety of all divers and to satisfy insurance requirements, no children under 12 or pets are allowed. The only exception is if the child is participating in a diving class or is a certified diver. Non-diving adults are welcome, but must pay a visitor's admission charge and sign a liability waiver.
Only those with a valid certification card may enter the water of the loch. We do our best to pamper you by doing things like picking up and delivering our sweet air to you at your picnic tables by the water, preparing you our famous Loch Low-Minn chicken for lunch, and providing hot water for showers - even a pool!
The best is the water with 40-50 foot visibility and 80+ degrees in the summer.
We would truly enjoy adding you to our guest list of happy divers!!!
